15th anniversary Gibraltar International Classic Car Rally May 2016

Our 15th International Rally this weekend was a great success with well over 100 vehicles attending on the Saturday. Casemates was packed solid with vehicles of all ages. I think I can safely say the best yet. For those that participated, well you saw for yourselves and for those who did not or could no you missed a great show. Anyway, there is always next year to look forward to.

Sunday saw about 30 cars assemble at The San Roque Club for breakfast. Then just after 11am 25 vehicles left for a 125 kms run in the Arconocales and ending up in Camping Jimena with a great BBQ lunch

GCVA member Larry Riches epic journey Gibraltar Point (UK) to Gibraltar in a 1929 Ford

The 2016 Classic car rally was the conclusion of “Larry’s epic journey”, which saw a Lincolnshire man drive a vintage nineteen-twenty-nine Ford all the way from Gibraltar Point to The Rock to raise money for charity, although covered by local media and facebook heavily, in case you didn’t hear about it here are some of the photos he shared of his journey:
